Biography

A colonel in the Directorate of the Service of Troops and Military Service Safety of the Ministry of Defence. In January 2025, he was charged with abuse of official powers in connection with drafting, together with a colleague, technical specifications for the supply of 760 “Strazh” weapons storage security systems. The specifications did not include a requirement for specialised GSM modules meeting the Ministry of Defence’s standards. We do not consider this prosecution to be politically motivated.
