Biography
Ukrainian serviceman. In the spring of 2022, he was taken prisoner in Mariupol. On 18 March 2024, a court in the occupied part of the Donetsk region of Ukraine sentenced him to 27 years in a strict regime colony on charges of attempted murder, employing prohibited methods of warfare and damage to property: according to the prosecution, he, together with other Ukrainian servicemen, shelled residential houses and civilian infrastructure on the outskirts of Mariupol. In addition, a case was opened against him on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation due to his involvement in the activities

In January 2026, the case was referred to court. On 17 March 2026, Sergiyenko was sentenced to 28 years' imprisonment in a strict regime colony on this case, taking into account the previous sentence.
