Sergei Chibikov

A resident of the Sverdlovsk region. He was accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organisation: the investigation believed that he was involved in the movement of "citizens of the USSR". Representatives of this movement deny the collapse of the USSR; how structured this movement is and how serious a threat it poses to Russian society is unclear. Chibikov was on his own recognisance. On 14 August 2024, he was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony. Presumably, he was released in March 2026.
