Nikita Karpov

Nikita Karpov is a resident of Omsk. He was prosecuted for justifying the actions of Nazi Germany and showing disrespect to the date of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. A travel ban was imposed on Karpov. On 16 February 2023, he was sentenced to one and a half years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. No later than September 2023, a case of public justification of terrorism was open against him because of the alleged conversations with other convicts about the Azov Brigade. On 28 June 2024, Karpov was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
