In the summer of 2024, Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin ordered a probe into his statements, accusing him of "publicly expressing calls for the murder of Russian citizens". Later, a case was brought against Prikhodko for publicly justifying terrorism. No later than March 2026, he was sentenced in absentia to six and a half years.
