Nariman Mezhmedinov

Mezhmedinov is a resident of Crimea. On 3 February 2020, he was detained and sent into custody the next day on charges of participation in the activities of an illegal armed group. According to the investigation, Mezhmedinov was involved in the activities of the the Battalion in the name of Noman Chelebidzhikhan, which apparently had not been functioning for a long time at the start of the persecution. On 20 July 2020, Mezhmedinov was sentenced to eight years' imprisonment in a strict regime colony.
