Murat Gotov

A resident of Cherkessk. On 24 November 2014, he was detained on charges of participating in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement with the Tablighi Jamaat Islamic movement. Its adherents are persecuted solely for their religious activities. On 14 May 2015, Gotov was handed a one-year suspended sentence.
