Ivan Nechiporenko

A Ukrainian serviceman. He was taken prisoner on 19 January 2023. A criminal case was initiated against him for participation in the activities of a terrorist community in connection with the fact that in 2014–2015 he served in the “Aidar” battalion. He himself stated that he worked as a driver and transported food from headquarters to the battalion’s location, and sometimes took part in patrols, but not in combat operations. On 3 September 2024, Nechyporenko was sentenced to five and a half years in a general-regime penal colony.
