Dmitry Gorin

Resident of Tyumen, lawyer. He was in charge of the affairs of the large firm Severnoye Fibre, and was attacked. In his opinion, influential people may be behind them. In 2021, he was questioned as a witness in a case about a certain Telegram channel. On 23 December 2025, he was detained by unknown people while he was in the building of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs because of his complaint about surveillance. He was brought home, where he was searched in a libel case. The case was initiated by a lawsuit filed by Igor Samkaev, the honorary consul of South Korea in the Tyumen Region. During the search, the operatives threatened that they would "find" extremist literature, but Gorin had a heart attack and was taken to hospital. In February 2026, the lawyer was sent into custody on a case of incitement to hatred. The reason was a post in the telegram channel "Nashe LukoMoorye", devoted to criticism of the governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moore. The channel stopped updating on the day Gorin was detained in the libel case. The lawyer and his lawyer claim that the investigation has no proof of his authorship.
