Andrey Akuzin

A resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, an artist, worked in a drama theatre as a production designer and ran a digital printing company. According to Mediazona, in 2022 he published a video with a military band in the local square and the caption "no to war". The publication refers to a certain Telegram bot that "analyses user's public comments": there, according to Mediazona, it was "flagged" that Akuzin was interested in "protest" and the "Artpodgotovka" movement. On 1 April 2026, he was allegedly detained. The next day he was taken into custody on charges of publicly justifying terrorism. On 8 April, Akuzin committed suicide in the pre-trial detention centre. Even after that he was included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring.
