Andrei Bunko

Ukrainian serviceman. On 16 April 2025 he was taken prisoner in Kursk region. A case of committing a terrorist act was opened against him. The Investigative Committee published a video in which Bunko is brought to a certain court, where he stammeringly reads from a piece of paper that he is accused of "illegally crossing the border of the Russian Federation with weapons for the purpose of intimidating civilians". No later than April 2026, he was sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime colony.
