Altynbek Kozonov

A resident of Moscow. Arrested on 19 February 2020 and taken into custody the next day on charges of involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation for being involved in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. Its adherents are persecuted solely because of their religious activities. On 18 May 2021, Kozonov was sentenced, presumably to 3 and a half years of imprisonment. He was released in December 2022, after which he was arrested again and sent to a centre for the temporary detention of foreign nationals for further deportation.
