Biography
A resident of Odessa. On 19 September 2020, he was detained in Crimea. At the time of detention, he was charged with calls to violate the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, but later reclassified the charge to creation of an extremist community. On 20 May 2021, he was sentenced to a year in prison. He was released on 21 May 2021, but immediately after his release he was detained again and accused of false reporting of a terrorist attack: according to the investigation, on 15 May 2018, the day of the opening of the Crimean bridge, he allegedly made a phone call

On 20 May 2021, he was sentenced to a year in prison. He was released on 21 May 2021, but immediately after his release he was detained again and accused of false reporting of a terrorist attack: according to the investigation, on 15 May 2018, the day of the opening of the Crimean bridge, he allegedly made a phone call to the police station in Temryuk (Krasnodar region) and reported that the bridge was mined. Dolzhenkov was taken into custody. In the pre-trial detention centre, he was beaten on the head with a metal crane for disobeying the administration, according to human rights activist Zarema Barieva. On 17 November 2021, he was sentenced to six years in a general regime colony. On 21 January 2026 Dolzhenkov was released. On the same day he was deported to Armenia.
