Alexander Vedernikov

Ukrainian serviceman. Captured on the territory of Kursk region on 19 August (according to other sources - 10 September) 2024. He was prosecuted for committing a terrorist act: according to the investigation, he and two other servicemen "occupied private houses at gunpoint, obstructed the evacuation of civilians, and repeatedly opened fire on Russian servicemen and local residents". On 19 March 2025, Vedernikov was sentenced to 17 years in a strict regime colony.
