After his detention, Kondratov was repeatedly handed consecutive administrative arrests on minor hooliganism charges. In total, he spent over 70 days in custody. In August, a treason case was opened against him, and he was sent to a remand prison over six internet posts.
Kondratov was the production designer for the TV series “Liquidation.” For his work on the project, he received the Golden Eagle award and a TEFI. “Pervy Otdel” notes that since the beginning of the year, this is at least the eleventh death of someone involved in a political case in Russia.
