In Khabarovsk, a major city in the Russian Far East, the organiser of the “For Fair Elections!” picket has gone missing.

The organiser of the “For Fair Elections!” picket has gone missing after receiving a call from the police, reports RusNews, citing the initiative group of Yekaterina Duntsova.

According to the group, the man received a call from the police, supposedly to be handed a warning notice. He then said he was being taken to the station. After that, he stopped responding. For about three hours now, nobody has known where the picket organiser is.

Earlier, the Khabarovsk city authorities had preliminarily approved the “Rassvet” party’s picket, but suggested relocating it to a different site—in the park of the House of Navy Officers, on the city’s outskirts. The party agreed to the move.
