Ksenia Maksimova, the UK consul of the “Anti-War Committee of Russia,” has been declared wanted.

A record for Ksenia Maksimova has appeared in the wanted persons database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as noted by Mediazona. The article of the Criminal Code under which the activist is wanted has not been specified.

In 2022, Maksimova, together with other activists, founded the Russian Democratic Society in London, which organises anti-war protests. In 2024, she also became the UK consul of the Anti-War Committee of Russia.

In October 2025, the FSB accused members of the Anti-War Committee of Russia of attempting to seize power and of creating a terrorist organisation. Among those named by the agency were Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Yekaterina Shulman, Dmitry Gudkov and Vladimir Kara-Murza. Maksimova was not included in the list published at that time.
