This morning in Moscow, police carried out a search at the home of journalist Yulia Morozova, who has previously worked with various publications. Her lawyer, Natalia Tikhonova, told OVD-Info about the incident.
The journalist has stopped responding to messages. The search is likely connected to her professional activities.
“I just got a brief call from Yulia, but I didn’t even have time to press the screen to answer. I tried to call back—she didn’t pick up and now the phone is switched off again,” wrote Tikhonova on her Telegram channel.
12:21 The search at Morozova’s home has ended, OVD-Info was told by lawyer Natalia Tikhonova.
She said that the security forces did not allow the journalist to open the door to her lawyer and carried out the search without the lawyer present. All of Morozova’s devices were seized, except for her camera.
In addition, police in Moscow also searched the home of another journalist, Polina Chistova, according to a friend of hers.

According to the outlet, searches were also conducted at the homes of activists who knew Terekhov before 2022.
