A Moscow resident was fined under 15 charges for having saved images featuring inverted crosses and pentagrams.

A 36-year-old Moscow resident, Ivan K., has been fined under 15 charges for images saved on VKontakte. This was reported by the “Ostorozhno, novosti” Telegram channel, affiliated with the security services.

The images depicted inverted crosses and pentagrams. Officers from Centre “E” concluded that the Moscow resident was promoting Satanism (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences).

Ivan was fined a total of 15,000 rubles (about US$165).
