The politician and “foreign agent” Elvira Vikhareva was assaulted in her own home. She reported this on her Telegram channel.
According to her, on 5 November she was beaten by her neighbour, who had previously repeatedly threatened her with murder, insulted her, and said that “a ‘foreign agent’ has no place in the building.”
“I ran into him, his wife and child at the moment I was leaving the lift. He grabbed me by the sleeve and threw me against the wall, pushed me out of the lift cabin, after which I tried to film what was happening on my phone camera. The phone was taken by the aggressor. He swung at me and landed several blows to my chest area,” she described.
After this, the attacker pushed her out of the lobby and then again shoved her into the wall. Vikhareva started calling loudly for help, and after a short time security guards arrived. The neighbour’s actions were caught on CCTV, and the politician filed a complaint about him with the police.
18:57 Elvira Vikhareva has encountered police inaction, reports Activatica. The politician’s lawyer called the local police officer to ask about the progress of the inquiry. “Well, it’s her own fault if she gets beaten. People are never beaten for no reason! If she was beaten, she’s at fault,” he said. When asked whether the police officer had watched the CCTV footage from the entrance, he asked “what for,” adding, “everything’s clear here.”
